Two-River Community

Little Silver is a compact residential borough between the Shrewsbury and Navesink river corridors, with a walkable commercial center around Prospect Avenue, Church Street and the railroad station.

Historic Roots

European settlement dates to the 1660s. The Parker Homestead preserves a rare connection to that early settlement period, while the borough itself was incorporated in 1923.

Rail Connection

NJ Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line serves Little Silver from the historic station near Branch Avenue, Sycamore Avenue and Oceanport Avenue.

Local Character
